Letter from the President:
My
name is Andrew Matuch, the president of TURBO-3000D . We recently
chose to advertise our product on the TDR web site and the TDR directory.
Many diesel truck enthusiasts have asked about our product. The main question
we receive is: Your product works on large diesel engines, will it have
the same results on a smaller diesel engine?" The answer to this
question is yes. We are quite pleased to report even higher results than
10% fuel economy increase on these smaller engines, along with significant
horsepower & performance improvements as evidenced by the enclosed
testimonial letters. Please feel free to contact us regarding any additional
information you may need about our product. In addition, please be advised
as of the writing of this letter we are still unable to fit the Ford 7.3
Power Stroke due to sizing and location problems. I am happy to report
that Dodge Rams do have an installation kit available (CBC-IK ISB Series).
The Chevy Duramax is still under development with a release to be announced
soon.
Thank
you for visiting our web site.
Best
regards,
Andrew

I
am just a "new" improved believer in the Turbo3000D! What can
I say that you haven't already heard? I installed the unit last night
in our garage and when I finished the job I had no idea what to expect.
The install was easy (I'm not a mechanic). I'm quite fussy about neatness
and a good look of any "add-on", so I took my time and it still
only took about an hour to install. I would suggest you inform people
about "purging" the unit and any lines they put on the unit
to make sure there is no air in the lines. The Dodge Cummins has an inline
rubber hose connecting the fuel lines in a very handy location to separate;
and the unit looks good when "tied in place". I started my truck
and held about ½ throttle to make sure whatever air was in the
system wouldn't stop the engine. After this I let the truck idle for about
5 minutes and shut it off and checked for leaks. There weren't any. When
I drove home (about a 20 minute drive) I noticed an instant improvement
in low end throttle response and absolutely no hesitation. The engine
idles smoother too. When I started my truck this morning for work I noticed
the biggest difference. The temperature was 5 degrees (coolest day this
fall), I started the engine as I have been and the truck started the same
but didn't have the "shakes" like it had! I put the truck in
1st gear and it didn't hesitate at all! I shifted into 2nd gear (as always)
and there was a noticeable difference in instant throttle response - no
chugging, lugging or hesitation!!! I have been driving diesel-powered
trucks for over 30 years and I am impressed with this product! Even if
I don't see a fuel improvement, as long as it runs the way I just explained
I will be very satisfied!!! I also had some curious onlookers last night
while I was installing the unit and they want one if I give them my results.
You can bet that it will catch on quickly with 150 owner/operators. I
will be keeping accurate records on my unit (I do anyway) and relay the
info to them. Thanks very much for the opportunity to be in business relations
with your company. A price list would be appropriate in the near future.
Thanks
again,

On
December 7, 2001, we installed a test unit on our shop truck, a 2001 Dodge
R-2500 4x4 extended cab, long bed with a Cummins high output engine, 6-speed
transmission and 3.54 to 1 gears. The first trip was 3200 miles, this
trip was the same basic one taken once or twice a year. There was a gain
of about 10% in fuel economy. Locally, since then, there have been several
trips to Phoenix and back with a gain of 1.2 mpg consistently. This should
improve with our next long trip after some fuel lines are rerouted.

Well
I have returned from a 2200-mile trip on the weekend and great results
to talk about! I have told you I haul travel trailers from Ontario to
St. John, NB. This weekend I hauled a trailer exactly the same as one
in July 2000 at which time I was getting a quite respective 15.8-16.2
MPG. You must remember this was in the summer with "summer"
diesel fuel. This trip was exactly 16.3-MPG overall figure with "winter"
diesel fuel. There is at least a 20% difference at the best of times between
the two blends! I got better mileage with the poorer grade and the truck
worked flawlessly (i.e. No smoking exhaust) I have talked to two owner/operators
about this trip and they will each be purchasing one soon!
Sincerely,
Jim Swetnam

Asked Questions by
Turbo
Diesel Register Members
Q.
How easy is it to install the TURBO3000D?
A. The TURBO3000D installs as easily
as an inline fuel filter and can generally be installed in 20-45 minutes.
Q. Where should I install the TURBO3000D?
A. Please see the installation instructions
for specific mounting instructions.
Q. Does the TURBO3000D require any
maintenance?
A. No. Due to engine and road vibration,
you may periodically check the tightness of the fittings and clamp, but
that is the extent of any maintenance the product needs.
Q. Will the TURBO3000D work on all
diesel engines?
A. Due to installation difficulties,
additional research may be necessary on the following engines prior to
installation: C-12 Cat, Ford Power Stroke, Cummins ISX and the new Isuzu
GM diesel engine. The TURBO3000D is easily installed on ALL other engines.
Please call the Technical Center for further information on the aforementioned
engines prior to purchase.
Q. How does the TURBO3000D work?
A. The TURBO3000D turbulates fuel
so that it burns cleaner and more completely inside the combustion chambers,
thereby optimizing combustion efficiency and reducing emissions of hydrocarbons
and carbon monoxide.
Q. Does the TURBO3000D use magnets
or catalysts to work?
A. No. The TURBO3000D does not contain
magnets, chemicals, or electrical components which may damage or void
manufacturers' warranties.
Q. Does the TURBO3000D add or remove
lubricity to the fuel?
A. No. The TURBO3000D neither adds
nor removes lubricity.
Q. Does the TURBO3000D add air or
remove air to the fuel?
A. No. The TURBO3000D strictly induces
turbulence into the fuel, it does not add nor remove air from the fuel.
Q. Do fuel additives harm the TURBO3000D?
A. No. The TURBO3000D is manufactured
to allow the use of any fuel additive. The performance of the TURBO3000D
is actually enhanced as the quality of the fuel is enhanced.
Q. Does the TURBO3000D cause any restrictions
in flow?
A. No. The TURBO3000D does not create
any flow restrictions.
Q. Does the TURBO3000D void any manufacturer's
warranties?
A. No. The TURBO3000D installs like
an inline fuel filter and does not affect manufacturer's warranties.
Q. Will the TURBO3000D work on both
the old mechanical engines as well as the new electronic engines?
A. Yes-as long as the TURBO3000D is
mounted in the correct location, as specified in our instruction sheets.
Q. How many years has the TURBO3000D
been available to consumers?
A. The TURBO3000D was invented in
1988 and patented in 1991. The clean burn device known as the TURBO3000D
was actively marketed for only 6 months due to low fuel cost and low requirements
for emission standards at the time. Presently, with fuel costs higher
than ever, and emission standards increasing the TURBO3000D is receiving
renewed interest by large fleets, engine manufacturers and owner/operators
alike.
Q. Why aren't any of the main engine
manufacturer's currently using the TURBO3000D?
A. The TURBO3000D is a patented and
scientifically proven product that reduces emissions and increases fuel
economy. Engine manufacturers generally will not change engine specifications
unless government mandated or if cost necessitates. Additionally, since
this is patented technology, it would first have to be purchased from
TURBO3000D before it could be installed.
Q. When will the TURBO3000D NOT work?
A. The only situations in which the
TURBO3000D will not work are seen with improper installation. There are
three installation scenarios in which the TURBO3000D will not work. They
are:
The TURBO3000D will not work when installed in the incorrect location.
The TURBO3000D will not work if installed backwards-that is, with the
fuel flow direction arrow pointing opposite the direction of the actual
fuel flow.
The TURBO3000D will not work if it has not been given enough time for
the break in period, which is typically 12,000-15,000 miles of use.
Q. What is the clean-out period?
A. The clean-out period is the 30
day period (or the equivalent of 12,000-15,000 miles of driving) after
the installation of the TURBO3000D. This is the period during which the
existing carbon buildup is removed from the engine.
Q. Will I need to purchase anything
additional when purchasing the TURBO3000D?
A. Installation kits for specific
engines are available for most engines. These kits make the installation
process easier for the do-it-yourselfer as the kits include
the necessary fittings/hose and clamp required for installation. Or, if
you prefer to have a technician install the TURBO3000D, you may wish to
take the kit with the TURBO3000D to make the installation process go smoothly
for them as well.
Q. Why should I purchase the TURBO3000D
instead of the other fuel savings devices on the market?
A. The TURBO3000D is PATENTED advanced
fuel delivery technology with 46 claims on clean burn technology. It is
currently in use on thousands of engines in the United States and Canada,
as well as many other countries around the world including Australia and
South Africa. The TURBO3000D operates on a scientifically proven and repeatable
concept and is offered with a full and complete 60 day money back guarantee.
You can only win!!!
