How easy is it to install the TURBO 3000D?
The TURBO 3000D installs as easily as an inline fuel filter and can generally be installed in 20-45 minutes.
Where should I install the TURBO 3000D?

Does the TURBO 3000D require any maintenance?
No. Due to engine and road vibration, you may periodically check the tightness of the fittings and clamp, but that is the extent of any maintenance the product needs.
Will the TURBO 3000D work on all Diesel Engines?
Yes with the exception of engines running high-pressure common rail systems. (Example – Dodge Ram Pick-ups 03 and above). Please call Technical Center if unsure of systems or install points.
Does the TURBO 3000D use magnets or catalysts to work?
No. The TURBO 3000D does not contain magnets, chemicals, or electrical components which may damage or void manufacturers' warranties.
Does the TURBO 3000D add or remove lubricity to the fuel?
No. The TURBO 3000D neither adds nor removes lubricity.
Does the TURBO 3000D add air or remove air to the fuel?
No. The TURBO 3000D does not add or remove air from the fuel.
Will the TURBO 3000D work with Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (USDL) and with the new Bio Diesel Blends.
Yes, the TURBO 3000D works well with both USDL and Bio Diesel.
Do fuel additives harm the TURBO3000D?
No. The TURBO 3000D is manufactured to allow the use of any fuel additive. The performance of the TURBO 3000D is actually enhanced as the quality of the fuel is enhanced.
Does the TURBO 3000D cause any restrictions in flow?
No. The TURBO 3000D does not create any flow restrictions.
Does the TURBO 3000D void any manufacturer's warranties?
No. The TURBO 3000D installs like an inline fuel filter and does not affect manufacturer's warranties.
Will the TURBO 3000D work on both the old mechanical engines as well as the new electronic engines?
Yes-as long as the TURBO 3000D is mounted in the correct location, as specified in our instruction sheets.
How many years has the TURBO 3000D been available to consumers?
The TURBO 3000D was invented in 1988 and patented in 1991. The clean burn device known as the TURBO 3000D was actively marketed for only 6 months due to low fuel cost and low requirements for emission standards at the time.

Why aren't any of the main engine manufacturer's currently using the TURBO3000D?
The TURBO 3000D is a patented product that reduces emissions and increases fuel economy. Engine manufacturers generally will not change engine specifications unless government mandated or if cost necessitates. Additionally, since this is patented technology, it would first have to be purchased from TURBO 3000D before it could be installed.
When will the TURBO 3000D NOT work?
The only situations in which the TURBO 3000D will not work are seen with improper installation. There are three installation scenarios in which the TURBO 3000D will not work. They are: The TURBO 3000D will not work when installed in the incorrect location. The TURBO 3000D will not work if installed backwards-that is, with the fuel flow direction arrow pointing opposite the direction of the actual fuel flow. The TURBO 3000D will not work if it has not been given enough time for the break in period, which is typically 15,000 to 3,5000 miles of use. The TURBO 3000D also cannot work on an engine with other existing mechanical problems
What is the “clean-out period”?
The clean-out period is the 30 day period (or equivalent of 15,000 to 3,5000 miles of driving) after the installation of the TURBO 3000D. This is the period during which the existing carbon build-up is removed from the engine.
Will I need to purchase anything additional when purchasing the TURBO3000D?
Installation kits for specific engines are available for most engines. These kits make the installation process easier for the “do-it-yourselfer” as the kits include the necessary fittings/hose and clamp required for installation. Or, if you prefer to have a technician install the TURBO 3000D, you may wish to take the kit with the TURBO 3000D to make the installation process go smoothly for them as well.
