where access to fuel inlet port at back of the engine is obstructed

NOTE: The DS 60 JL kit is meant to install on the outlet side of the fuel pump or fuel filter outlet, whichever is last on the fuel line connecting to the fuel inlet port.

NOTE: Caterpillar 3406E model 1999 and above – install unit at fuel filter outlet
or junction block located to the right of the air compressor by dropping the flexible line.

disconnect flex line at outlet of ECM and install on ECM outlet fitting.

NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TURN FITTING COMING OUT OF ECM PLATE! THE FITTING WILL SNAP!
